Rafal Milach

Nato a Gliwice nel 1978 e di stanza a Varsavia, Polonia, il fotografo Rafal Milach combina un magico surrealismo con uno scintillio negli occhi. Dal pensionato performer di un circo in tutu ai cararmati abbandonati nel cortile di un agglomerato di appartamenti, le sue immagini catturano i calmi-quieti frammenti del blocco dell’Est. Rafal si è laureato all’Accademy of Fine Arts di Katowice (Polonia) e all’Institute for Creative Photography (ITF) a Opava (Repubblica Ceca). È stato selezionato per partecipare al Joop Swart Masterclass nel 2007 (Amsterdam) e dal VII per il corso per fotogiornalisti emergenti dell’Est e Centro europa nel 2004 (Parigi).Il suo lavoro è stato premiato dal World Press Foto e dal Picture of the Year. Il progetto di Rafal Milach Black Sea of Concrete.
